We’re seeking a Deputy Treasurer to support the management of our Group’s finances alongside our Treasurer. The individual will support on delegated tasks and will ideally provide cover for when our Treasurer is on holiday, etc.
We will provide access to core training such as Trustee Induction, Safety, Safeguarding and GDPR as well as training on our policies, procedures and systems.
Key duties for the role include:
- Assist with annual budget setting
- Provide financial administration support
- Assist with financial reporting to the Trustee Board
- Assist with managing accounting of membership subscriptions, camp and event payments
- Complete any other mutually agreed tasks delegated by the Treasurer
About you:
- You have experience or an interest in financial accounting/management
- You don’t need any experience of Scouting but should be aligned to our values
- You have good IT skills including Microsoft 365
- You have good organisational and communication skills
