Are you ready for your next adventure?
Our Scout Group meets in a fantastic purpose-built Scout Hall located in the centre of St Neots.
The hall was originally built in 1936 with a major redevelopment in 2016. Each week, the hall hosts 7 separate Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer meetings plus many other external users such as kids clubs, church groups and parties. Having a dry, safe and welcoming Scout Hall is key for our everyday work.
As the Group’s Building Manager, you would manage the general running of the Scout Hall, chair meetings of the sub-committee and report updates to the Executive Committee. You’d work closely with the Group Chair, Secretary and Group Scout Leader to ensure the needs for all internal and external parties are met. By being part of the Executive Committee, you also become one of our charity trustees.
All our committee members have access to a training package relevant to their role, mostly self-led over 2 years so don’t worry if you think you don’t have the skills, knowledge or experience. All we ask is that you’re a team player with a can-do attitude and passionate about developing a great environment for Young People and the community to flourish.
