Gift Aid is a tax relief set up by the Government that allows registered charities to claim back 25p for every eligible £1 that is donated.
For 1st St Neots Scouts, membership subscriptions and donations qualify for gift aid but camp fees do not. This means that if you pay us £16.25 each month, we can claim an extra £243.72 each year at no cost to you.
For this to be possible, the following needs to happen:
- You (or the person who owns the bank account from which subs are paid) needs to be a UK Tax Payer.
- You need to either: tick the relevant box in the OSM Parent Portal, or you can download and complete the following form and hand it to your child’s Section Leader.
